Stefano is an Assistant Professor in the UC Davis Department of Pharmacology. He earned a PhD in Bioengineering at the University of Bologna, Italy, then pursued his postdoctoral training in with Dr. Ele Grandi at UC Davis. When not in the Lab, Stefano works his primary job of father of two little girls. He also likes outdoor activities, playing soccer, and traveling.

Edith obtained her PhD in the Lab of Dr. Daniel Beard and Dr. Brian Carlson at University of Michigan, where she studied cardiovascular metabolism and hemodynamics, using biochemical and computational modelling approaches. Outside of the Lab, Edith enjoys baking with her husband and friends, watching period dramas, and dreaming of mini farming (if she ever owns a single chicken, she will think herself a very accomplished farmer!).
